India is famous for many exciting tourist places and amazing sports. Among the daring sport items, water spots remain the favorite sport item of Indian states that have long coastlines.  Aero sports were least promoted in India. Recently some states in India started promoting aero spots as a part of popularizing tourism. Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Jammu are some of the states that promote aero sports.  

The world looks wonderful from the top. Aero sports are popular among people who like to do something different from the ordinary. It is one of the adventurous sports that can elevate the individual to another level. The adventurer can enjoy the scenic beauty from the top by freaking out in the thrill of the air. Aero sports are not popular in India as in western countries. In western countries, visitors can experience all types of aero spots, although some places in India advertise all types of flying activities for the adventurers. Still, Aerobatics and Gliding are not popular in India as in foreign countries.

Paragliding is a best way to feel the air movements. Paragliding Association of India at Goa offers multiple courses on paragliding. It aims to develop a paragliding community in India. Paragliding is an adventurous sport practiced in the hilly terrains of Pune, Mumbai, Goa and Jammu. Kamshet at Maharashtra is also a famous place in India which offers paragliding courses. 

Ballooning in India

Hot air ballooning can take travellers to great altitudes. This sport takes the travellers close to the sky and it is really exciting to watch creatures moving in the land from such an altitude.  The venues that promote hot air ballooning in India are Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan and Manali in Himachal Pradesh. At the time of Pushkar Camel Fair, hot air ballooning turns to be one of the most sought after events in Rajasthan. The travellers who embark on Rajasthan tours at the time of festivals prefer travelling in hot balloons, for it needs no experience.  Air balloons operate between Jaipur and Pushkar. The best time to take a safari in the balloon is either before sunrise or in the evening.

Hang Gliding is the most promoted aero spot in India and is available in many places. Travellers can enjoy Hang Gliding ignoring the weather or season. Para Motoring adventure in India

Para motoring is otherwise known as powered paragliding.  A pusher prop will be strapped on the travelers’ back and the frame with a light weight two stroke engine will lift the traveler with the wind. It is a mesmerizing experience to travel over the mountains and jungles in a Para motor. It is practiced in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Rajasthan. Para Motoring is the best way to enjoy the hills, palaces and forts of Rajasthan.   

Skydiving in India

Most adventurous and exciting of all the aero spots is skydiving. This sport is not much practiced in India. Special training is needed to control the body and direction of the air, while you do skydiving. Sky diving is practiced in some areas of Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
